Kema's Korner 

Kema’s story is truly inspiring—a testament to resilience, vision, and the power of community. Born in Jamaica as the third of eight children, she grew up with a strong sense of family and a desire to make a difference. Her journey took her to Canada, where she continued her studies and, along the way, found both love and the foundation for the family she holds dear.

Pastor Kema shared the vision with the Guyana Awakening team and they sought to initiate this venture and run with it. However, it was her dedication to youth empowerment that set her on the path to something even greater: the creation of the Global Youth Summit. Kema's visionary leadership and determination led her to assemble a dynamic team of passionate individuals—each committed to working hard and making an impact. Together, they laid the groundwork for an organization that aims to provide valuable tools, support, and opportunities to youth, both domestically and internationally.

 

​Through months of collaboration and tireless networking, Kema’s dream began to take shape, building a bridge for young people to access resources, gain inspiration, and connect with one another across borders. Her journey is a powerful reminder of the importance of vision, community, and the ability to turn dreams into action.
